NFPA 1021 LEVEL 1 TO 4
NFPA 1021 LEVEL I - COMPANY OFFICER
This course is designed for the first-line company officer or supervisor and satisfies the requirements of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1021 Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications, Chapter four "Fire Officer I". The course is designed around classroom lectures and group exercises to improve your abilities to manage a single fire company. This includes responsibilities such as the development of an Incident Action Plan (IAP), personnel management and mentoring, and community relations. The CFRC splits this program into two parts, the online portion and the practical portion. Once both portions have been successfully completed, the student will receive Pro-Board Certification.
NFPA 1021 Level II - Company Officer
This course is designed to meet the needs of the mid-level officer or supervisor and satisfies the requirements of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1021 Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications, Chapter five “Fire Officer II.” The course is designed around classroom lectures and group interactive exercises to improve your ability to manage multiple fire companies. This includes responsibilities such as strategic planning and operations, personnel development, and organizational communications. The CFRC splits this program into two parts, the online portion and the practical portion. Once both portions have been successfully completed, the student will receive Pro-Board Certification.
NFPA 1021 Level III - Chief Officer
This course meets the needs of fire executive management and satisfies the requirements of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1021 Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications, Chapters six “Fire Officer 3”. The course is designed around classroom lectures and group interactive exercises to improve your abilities to manage a fire service organization. The course emphasizes community/government relations, model planning, budgeting, human resources, trends and support organizations, and emergency service delivery. The course includes a written project that requires you to develop a strategic plan. The CFRC splits this program into two parts, the online portion, and the practical portion. Once both portions have been successfully completed, the student will receive Pro-Board Certification.
